What is STEP?

Read Sangeet Brar’s reflection on what is STEP and how it impacted her college experience. Sangeet grew up in San Jose, California, and chose to attend The Ohio State University (OSU) in Columbus, Ohio. She is a student in the prestigious Honors Cohort of the Fisher College of Business at OSU. Sangeet participated in STEP in her sophomore year (2017-2018). I have mentored many students in various roles – as an educator, coach and researcher. STEP has been a most fulfilling mentoring experience and Sangeet is among the very best that I have had the opportunity to mentor.
